A. No, the contact lens examination is separate from the eye examination. In the contact lens examination, the practitioner determines your suitability to lenses, the type of lens most appropriate to your needs and the parameters required for a comfortable fit. |
| Q. Is their a separate cost involved for the contact lens prescription? |

A. If you have purchased lenses from your optician, then you are entitled to a copy of your contact lens prescription. This should be given to you at no additional cost. If you decide that you only want the contact lens fitting, the optician may charge you for their time and expertise. |
| Q. I wear my opticians own brand of contact lenses. Can you supply them? |
| A., All own brand lenses are generally the mainstream lenses just repackaged to give your opticians some kind of exclusivity. Simply ask your optician to suggest an alternate mainstream brand that you can wear and we will be happy to supply these to you. |
| Q. Can i sleep in my lenses? |

A. There are a few lenses that enable you to do so, but on the whole it is always safer not to. Speak to your optician for further clarification. |
| Q. Can i swim in my lenses? |
| A. As long as you wear air tight swimming goggles. Otherwise there is an increased risk of eye infection from the water .Remember there are a lot of dirty bodies using the same facilities. |
| Q. How long is the validation on a contact lens prescription.? |

A. Your contact lens prescription should be no older than 12 months. Otherwise we strongly recommend that you go along for a consultation. |
| Q. Im not sure what my contact lens prescription is. Can i send the information on the boxes? |

A. Yes, as long as we can verify them with your optician. |

Q. How long does it take before i get the contact lenses? |
| A. Usually within 3-4 days. We send the lenses out recorded delivery, therefore you have the peace of mind that you will have to sign for them upon receiving them. Unlike some companies that send them through ordinary post. |
| Q. Do you supply contact lenses world wide? |

A. Yes, there is no carriage involved within EU. However there are shipping charges involved elsewhere. Simply e-mail us to ask about specific charges. |
| Q. Do we verify your prescription with your Optician? |
| A. Yes, we will phone your optometrist to confirm your prescription validity to ensure you have not made an error. |
| Q. Do I need regular checkups? |
| A. Yes, we strongly recommend at least an annual checkup to ensure the fitting and the prescription of the lenses is correct and above all the health |
